Overview of Project
The Next Birthday Project showcases survivors, current patients, and those who have lost their battle to cancer. We want to showcase each individual’s story with photography.
Goal:
The project has no end date. Our goal is to have the “Hope & Inspire” campaign spread globally to people directly and indirectly affected by cancer. There are so many wonderful organizations out there supporting and rallying their efforts against the disease. It is now time to focus on each individual's story.
The session consists of the following:
1st photo panel: The diagnosis - Showcases the individual only with their balloon(s).
2nd photo panel: The process - Showcases the individual with the people who support them or may show how this person’s story became a beacon for others.
3rd photo panel: The experience - Showcases each individual's own experience with cancer.
Each story will include three items to provide to the photographer before the photo shoot.

- The signature “stool” used in every photo.
- A balloon will represent the cancer(s) the person has with a correlating colored ribbon.
- A three-panel photo card featured on The Next Birthday Project website.

- Cancer diagnosis, date diagnosed, and date of remission status (if applicable). For current patients, an update on progress is needed. If this is a memorial shoot, please provide a message that you would like to share in memory of those loved ones lost.
